Artist’s Biography:

Annie Forrest is a London-based artist and creative director. Originally from the tropical paradise Mauritius, her childhood fostered a love of Nature. She studied art, focusing on landscapes, skyscapes, and seascapes. A British citizen, she has lived in the UK since 1997. She also holds an LLB (Hons) and an MBA in Management Consulting and Technology Innovation.


About Forrest Art Studio:

Annie works across many mediums — from painting and publishing to creative consulting. Her practice centers on landscape and nature, as well as religious and other sacred art forms.

It is true to say that Religious Art is deeply interwoven with faith and spirituality, serving as a potent form of story telling. Meanwhile, Sacred Art invites contemplative engagement with the Holy and the Divine, often reimagined through symbolic imagery and devotional themes and typically displayed in places of worship to inspire reverence and reflection.

All faith artwork is beyond aesthetic appeal - it encapsulates a mixture of doctrine, culture and personal belief altogether, drawing on the soul of civilizations. Faith begins at the edge of understanding. The Artist is pleased to introduce a unique genre of artwork based on her own spiritual journey and direct encounter with the divine, in accordance to ‘The Book of Revelation’ in December 2019.

Unlike the re-imagined works of the Old Masters, the Divine manifested itself through her painting, using her technical skill as one of several sacred mediums to produce exquisite artworks. Several of the newly unveiled pieces also carry a prophetic quality, hinting at meanings that unfold over time.

As the world evolves, so does the expression of our faith through art. The Artist seeks to inspire, challenge, and gently guide art collectors and believers alike, inviting reflection on humanity’s changing, complex relationship with the Divine. Faith is the beginning and love is the end…
